Endless love and happiness - that's a Flat!
We hope you enjoy going through these pictures of our gorgeous little Flat puppies!!!! They are simply wonderful, we couldn't ask for more! ;-)

5th of August: We spent the weekend taking new pictures of the puppies now at 7 weeks! They are looking so gorgeous, we couldn't be more happy! All show signs of great working capacities, they follow us every where, never showing signs of scared of anything, always carrying things in their mouth and already delivering when called! We are really proud of our puppies and of the wonderful combination that was Nielsen with our Hip! You can see their pictures at seven weeks here:

30th of June: It's very hot at the moment in here, around the 32 degrees everyday. We placed an air conditioner where the puppies are and of course we stay there also ;-) !!! Yesterday the pups did 2 weeks and they are looking wonderful! Their eyes are already open and they look like toddlers in the nursery trying to move around it! Their weights go from 1350 to 1800 grams and now the fun part starts because they are beginning to play with each other and they started to bark! We took some individual pictures of them, you can see all of them in this Picasa web album http://picasaweb.google.se/angelusparks/HipNielsenDOB15thOfJune200802 .
23rd of June: The puppies are 1 week old and 7 of them are more than 900 grams and two more than 1 kg, they are all doing very well, mummy included! We took some pictures of them, you can see some here or enter the Picasa Album site and see all the others. http://picasaweb.google.se/angelusparks/HipNielsenDOB15thOfJune2008
15th of June: Today Hip began the labor work at 15 hours and has presented us with 9 wonderful babies! Four beautiful girls and five handsome males. All of them are doing really well, mother and her nine sweet babies. They are the most wonderful thing in the word to watch and it's impossible for us not to be watching them for hours and hours, all the time ;-)!!! We will be often updating this page with their pictures.
Hip, just before the birth, already in the first steps of labor.
And the just born puppies!
7th of June: Today we went for the last veterinarian appointment before the birth. Dra. Vanessa, from the Vetmonti Clinic, checked Hip and even heard the heart of the puppies beating inside of her. Everything is really well with her, temperature, heart, lungs and she is now with 41,5 kg. More 4 kg then the day of the eco. We can see now the puppies moving :-).
Here are some pictures of yesterday with Dra. Vanessa and with Ricardo, having some cuddles. ;-)!!!
23rd of May: Today we went to the veterinarian to do an eco , not to know if Hip was pregnant or not, that was visible, but to be sure all was Ok with her and with the puppies. And yes! All is doing very well! Hip is energetic and happy ...and always wanting to eat something! The puppies are quite big and we could see their hearts pumping and they were really moving to the touch !!! It's a wonderful feeling to see them moving inside of our girl! A true precious moment We had to change our veterinarian due to our home change but had the luck of finding a very good one close to our home ( Vetmonti) that are prepared for anything if necessary. And we like to thank them as they have been true good with us! Some pictures of the eco. In 15 days we will be going there again to check our girl and see if all is going well!

20th of May: Hip is with 5 weeks of pregnancy and really showing signs of it! Even with terrible weather ( almost raining every day) we took advantage of a 30 minutes water break and took some pictures!!!! Hope you enjoy them!
15th & 16th of April: Hip was matted in these two days. Everything went really well as the couple really did match! We can say they felt in love at first sight :-)! We would like to thank the hospitality and really warm welcome to Marta Alarcão and Tiago Flores, "Nielsen" Professional Handlers. They were true wonderful with us and help us all the way.
Story
We were hoping only to matte Hip in the end of the year, but we know that Hurry will be in season at the same time ( she only has got her season 13 to 13 months) and we plan to matte her for the first time, and we do not want to have two Flat coated litters at once. So we took Hip to the veterinarian to give her a check up and see if she was Ok to go along with her second pregnancy. The veterinarian, with cuddles and treats ( that's why they all love going there!) was wonderful to our girl and reported she was marvelous and not even showing signs of a first pregnancy, and that was much better for her to have her litters as a young or middle aged bitch then close to 8 years old. So we went on with it! :-)
We first saw "Nielsen" at a show and he caught our eyes because of his elegance and correct Flat drive. After contacting his owner, Maria Póvoas, we also got to know him and happily saw that he was also a true sweet male with a willing disposition to work.
With him we are going back on the Shargleam and Belsud Lines with dogs such us Ch Belsud Capercaillie and Ch Shargleam Blackcap.

With this matting we expect really elegant Flats, with the proper happy, easy going, trainable, and sweet disposition and character as all Flatcoated should be.
Both parents are trained to do Retriever Work. Although we found Hip loves to do a bit of everything. She achieved her Rescue Dog Certification ( search in big areas) last year and truly enjoys it to the most. ;-)
