From the start that we know the need that retrievers have to be mental active, and so we always wanted to make full all the skills that they have, particularly their natural disposition, the one they were developed for - to retrieve...

So weekly we go to training lessons in a school - Quinta da Alcateia with coach Miguel.

We know it's not easy but hopefully, in the future and with all the training and patience we will be able to teach our dogs how to work for us. In this page we will place pictures of some of the training we will attend to or Field Trials we will go to observe and learn from. We don't have many pictures because normally we are training at the same time, me with Hip & Ricardo with Hurry, but we will try !

- Hip, March 2007, after one year and a half training with dummies we are starting with Quills and Partridges. 

Miguel, our trainer, placing Quill feathers around the dummy. Ricardo allowing Hip to smell it. Throwing it far wile Hip stays steady at hill.
